Many celebrities are fond of their imperfections and have no intention of turning to plastic surgery. One of the most celebrated quirks in Hollywood? The big nose look! Here’s a gallery of the most famous “Extra Large” nostrils.

Few stars in Hollywood have resisted the call of plastic surgery. The temptation of the scalpel is so strong that those who remain “as nature made them” can be counted on one hand. Between maxillofacial surgery, liposuction, and laser treatments, if voluptuous beauties like Anita Ekberg and Sophia Loren began their acting careers today, they would probably turn to surgery to flaunt a Kate Moss-style silhouette. Likewise, if Cindy Crawford debuted on the runway now, her iconic mole would likely vanish in a flash of laser light.

But are there still stars who go against the trend? Absolutely. Many are too attached to their extra-large noses to part with them! From Gérard Depardieu—who made his prominent nose a trademark and even earned roles like Cyrano de Bergerac—to Barbra Streisand, remembered as much for her powerful voice as for her distinctive profile, many celebrities embrace their “imperfections.”

The large or imperfect nose is perhaps the most common physical irregularity: Totò, Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson, and Sarah Jessica Parker all proudly display their unique features. A prominent nose can indeed be a mark of beauty and a sign of personality.
