Thigh lift

When thigh lift is indicated
Thigh lifting is the ideal operation for those who have overabundant and flabby skin on the inner surface of the thighs, as often happens after a strong weight loss or due to family predisposition. Relaxation is particularly accentuated in the highest part of the inner surface of the thighs, the one closest to the genitals.
The skin of the thighs can be so flabby as to form folds and skin irregularities that are very unpleasant to the eye and to the touch. This also causes considerable discomfort in walking due to the rubbing of a thigh with the contralateral which, in some cases, can cause chronic skin irritation.
Loose skin on the thighs is a condition that often discourages the affected person from engaging in regular physical activity.
What is the thigh lift surgery?
Thigh lifting consists of removing excess skin and fat from the inner thighs to improve tone. It is performed with a skin incision inside the thigh that reaches the inguinal fold where it ends.
The thigh lifting technique varies according to the extent of the defect to be corrected. It is performed under general anesthesia, and usually requires one or two days of hospitalization.
Arms lift
- Intervention duration 1-2 hours depending on the importance of the correction to be made
- Type of anesthesia Local anesthesia with sedation and or general anesthesia
- Recovery times 7/10 days depending on the case
When an arm lift is indicated
With weight loss the adipose tissue is reabsorbed and the skin of the over-extended arms remains too abundant and flabby : the sagging skin thus forms a pendulous half-moon that moves every time the arm is moved forward or sideways.
This condition is very common in women and causes a lot of embarrassment especially in summer when wearing dresses with short sleeves or straps.
The lifting of the arms is the ideal intervention to solve the problem and restore a toned appearance to the arms.
What does the arm lifting surgery consist of?
The arm lifting operation is aimed at removing excess skin and, very often, also the fat that remains in the subcutaneous of the posterior surface of the arm.
Liposuction with very thin and delicate cannulas also takes place during the surgery. The removal of the skin takes place through an incision on the medial surface of the arm: the incision is rather hidden because it is on the skin facing the chest.
The result of the surgery is a marked improvement in the tone of the skin and subcutaneous tissues of the arms.
